1. CCTV USE

2. PURPOSE
CCTV is used for the protection of persons, premises, property and goods and for the prevention, detection and investigation of security incidents.
CCTV footage is not used to evaluate employee performance.
3. LEGAL BASIS
CCTV processing is based on TEPHRΛ's legitimate interest in protecting people, premises, property and goods, balanced against the rights and freedoms of individuals present in monitored areas.
4. CAMERA POSITIONING
Cameras are positioned only where considered necessary for security.
The system is intended to avoid capturing more space than is necessary for its security purpose and is not intended to monitor areas in which individuals have a heightened expectation of privacy.
5. NOTICE AT THE PREMISES
CCTV signage is displayed at the premises so that individuals are informed of video surveillance before entering a monitored area.

6. RETENTION
Routine CCTV footage is automatically deleted after five (5) days.
Where a specific security incident occurs, relevant footage may be isolated from the routine recording cycle and retained for a longer period where this is necessary and proportionate for investigation, protection of persons or property, an insurance matter, the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, cooperation with competent authorities, or the exercise of a data-protection right.
Where justified by such a specific incident, relevant footage may be retained for up to six (6) months.
Footage may be retained for a longer period only where this is required by law, by a competent authority, or where continued retention is otherwise legally necessary in connection with a specific matter.
7. ACCESS AND DISCLOSURE
Access to CCTV footage is limited to authorised persons.
Footage may be disclosed where necessary and lawful, including to police, judicial or other competent authorities, insurers, legal advisers, or individuals exercising applicable data-protection rights.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Subject to applicable law, individuals appearing in CCTV footage may have rights including access, objection, restriction and, where applicable, erasure.
